# Notifications

What the bot sends, and when.

The Nøyra Suite bot sends direct messages when:

-   you're assigned a required course;
-   a required course is due in two days;
-   a manager grades your answer or replies to it;
-   you pass a course, with any role it gives.

To turn these off, go to **Settings**. Managers can also turn them off for the whole organization.

Discord can only deliver these if you allow direct messages from people in that server, under **Privacy Settings** for the server. Your assigned courses always appear in **My learning**, even if a message doesn't arrive.
