# Shift planning

Schedule shifts, and compare planned hours with hours logged. Needs Nøyra Premium.

Under **Shifts**, everyone in your organization can see the week's schedule, in their own time zone. This needs [Nøyra Premium](/crew/premium) to add shifts.

## Adding a shift

Managers choose **Add a shift**, then a person, a title, a date and times. An end time earlier than the start runs overnight, and a shift can be up to 24 hours. Crew won't double-book someone, or book them while they're on leave. The person is told by Discord message, and again if a future shift is deleted.

Below the schedule, each person and their managers can compare planned hours with [activity](/crew/activity) logged that week.
