Automatic pulses
Sensa sends a generic pulse for you, so you see trends without setting anything up. It's on from the start, and goes to everyone. Under Surveys, choose every week on Friday, every 2 weeks or every month, or turn it off. Most teams do well with one a month. Each pulse asks one statement from every theme, rotating through a bank of 30, so people aren't asked the same thing every time. You can see what's coming next, and turn off any statement you don't want. Trends compare themes, so a change in wording can move a score a little. Look for a pattern over several pulses.
Custom surveys
Managers can ask about anything else. Under Surveys, name it, choose who gets it, and write your own questions, adding standard themes if you'd like. It runs alongside automatic pulses and doesn't affect the trend. See its results under Insights once at least 5 people have responded.
