Dashboard and announcements

The Dashboard is the first page you see in an organization. It brings the organization's news and numbers together, and it keeps itself up to date while it's open.

What's on the dashboard

• Announcements: the latest news, pinned announcements first.

• Things waiting for you: for example "3 job applications waiting for review" for the application team, with a link straight to them.

• Numbers at a glance:

  Tile	What it counts
  Members	People in the organization, and how many departments.
  New (30 days)	Members added in the last 30 days.
  Pending requests	Requests waiting for a decision that you can see.
  Hours this week	Approved activity this week, and hours still awaiting approval.
  Trainings done	Completed trainings.
  Expiring certs	Certifications that expire within 30 days.

• Charts: employment status (active, on leave, terminated), requests by status and by type, and headcount by department.

What you see depends on your access level. Members see the organization-wide numbers but only their own requests; managers and Super Users see more. View-only people see the announcements and general numbers.

Announcements

Announcements are short messages for the whole organization or one department, such as a schedule, a policy change or a welcome.

Posting one

1. On the dashboard, click New in Announcements.
2. Write a Title and a Message.
3. Choose the Audience: everyone, or one department.
4. Leave Notify members on to send it to the audience as a notification (a Discord DM, or in the app if they've turned DMs off). Turn it off for small updates.

Who can post:

• Super Users can post to everyone or to any department.
• Managers can post to a department.

Department announcements are only shown to that department's members (and to Super Users).

Pinning and deleting

• Pin keeps an announcement at the top until it's unpinned (Super Users).
• Delete removes it for everyone. The author and Super Users can delete an announcement.

Tip: Announcements are also sent to your webhooks as announcement.published, so you can mirror them to a website or another tool.
